About Us

Fleet Data Technologies (FDT) was established in 2001 as a 100% owned by historically disadvantaged individual, Peter Mudogwa.

FDT employs 29 full time employees and 30 independent contractors. These individuals are mainly from disadvantaged communities because we believe in empowering those who are in real need. That makes us unique in that we empower from the bottom, our technicians are trained to install and support the equipment for AFS Group, Fleet Data Technologies and Control Instruments (MIX Telematics).

FDT is based in Johannesburg with specialist technical resources throughout the country. All our associated solution providers have well established businesses in South Africa, using technologies that are applied globally.

We have implemented 700 MIX Telematics On-Board Computers at Emfuleni Local Municipality and currently implementing the system onto 350 vehicles for Rustenburg Local Municipality as the first phase of the adopted consolidated solution.

Implementation and support of eFuel vehicle fitments stretches across the SA Provincial Government and Private Sector fleet;
